Old-time calcites, such as this, are an English classic. The striking, striated terminations and cross-hatching on the prism faces really enhance this excellent, stout, beautifully limpid scalenohedron. Contacting on the sides, normal for such crystals, has very little actual damage and the bit of termination edge wear have very minimal impact on this fine calcite. Ex Webster Collection. valued $300
