Mottramite rarely forms attractive specimens at Tsumeb, but this impressive large combination piece is certainly an exception! The extremely glassy, flattened calcite rhombs are artistically festooned with both embedded and included, arborescent mottramite clusters. Close examination of the arborescent mottramite clusters is a real revelation on this very fine large combination piece. The presentation face is essentially pristine, except for modest periphery wear. This most excellent piece displays well without aid, as the base has been sawed. Value of such a fine large Tsumeb rarity??
