Sharp, white calcite scalenohedrons, to 4.4 cm, are aesthetically clustered on the hefty large iron oxide crust coated with a crust of nubby, oixide-coated marcasite crystals. Mineral specimens from this less well-known Scott County quarry are seldom on the market. Uncommon and choice combination material from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
