Item Description

These are some of the most recognizable Mn-Calcite specimens in the world. This particular piece features several sharp, attractive, soft pink color rhombohedra with slight "feathery" overgrowths associated with black Sphalerite on minor matrix. The Calcites have a truly unique look to them and they are almost all pristine. These pieces are no longer being mined, and are now some of the great "classics" from Peru.
