Item Description

A nice example of the famous pink manganese-bearing Calcites from Dalnegorsk. This piece features several compressed rhombic crystals measuring up to 2.6 cm across, sitting atop black Sphalerite, with associated metallic silvery Galena. There are a some rough spots on a few of the Calcites, so the piece is not 100% pristine, but it's still an attractive association specimen from one of the most well-known localities in the modern era of mineral collecting.
