Item Description

Sparkly spherical aggregates of glassy calcite rhombs fill a sculptural vug lined with malachite and chrysocolla on this classic and aesthetic combination small cabinet from this famous extinct Arizona mine. An attractive and rich older calcite combination piece from this historic Arizona locale, probably dating to the 1950s or earlier. The mine closed in 1957. Ex Bruce Murphy Collection.
