Mine No. 884 is renowned for world-class, V-twin butterfly Calcite crystals that were recovered in the late 1990s to early 2000s. A much rarer style is this striking large, GEMMY colorless scalenohedron featured here. All sides of the sharply terminated, lustrous, vitreous crystal with incredibly smooth prism faces and a beautiful triangular termination. The piece is not completely undamaged, as there is a small amount of roughness around the termination, but I think that is more than forgivable based upon the sheer size, GEMMINESS and overall quality of a singular crystal like this, as they are nearly impossible to obtain these days.
