Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet display specimen featuring, sharp, scalenohedral, translucent Calcite crystals which grade in color variation from nearly colorless to a soft reddish-brown hue (iron included) on matrix. The largest Calcite is doubly-terminated and measures 4.1 cm across. Most of the crystals are damage free, but the largest crystal does have a slight imperfection near the lower portion. Good fluorescence under UV light as well. A nice and eye-catching specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time.
