Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet display specimen featuring, sharp, compressed scalenohedral, translucent Calcite crystals which grade in color variation from nearly colorless to a reddish-brown hue (iron included) on additional Calcite crystal matrix. The largest Calcite measures 3.1 cm across. Most of the crystals are damage free, but there are a few nicks here and there, along with edge wear along periphery where it was removed from pocket wall. A nice and eye-catching specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time.
