Item Description
A rarely seen specimen from Ajo featuring sharp, well-formed, scalenohedral crystals of colorless Calcite which are included with intense red colored Cuprite var: Chalcotrichite, creating a dazzling effect. The Calcites measure up to 6 mm, and most of them are in good shape, despite a little roughness in spots. These are RARE, I can only remember seeing a handful of them, and the color is about as red as it gets.
