Item Description

Scintillating, glassy, cuprian calcite rhombs and botryoids with three shades of green line the sculptural vug in very sturdy CABINET gossan matrix on this outstanding and vibrant older specimen from the famous Mina Ojuela. The beautiful green shades include dark forest green, grass green and light green. Calcite with this intense green is not very common from this renowned locale. The color is caused by inclusions of malachite and other copper minerals. Valued at $500-700.
