Calcite incl. with & coated with Duftite (excellent)

An impressive, classic, decidely different, large, two-sided, combination rib from Tsumeb. The sculptural, boot-shaped piece is composed completely of very glassy, colorless calcite rhombs. On one side the rhombs are nearly totally coated with green duftite. The striking large rhomb is 3.0 cm on the diagonal. What a difference on the other side! Here, the glassy, highly lustrous rhombs are all INCLUDED with duftite! They really shine in light. This dramatic large piece is complete all-around and is essentially a pristine floater. The broken base is healed and covered with duftite. The very few gently cleaved rhombs along the base and on the bottom have no impact on the overall very fine quality of this most excellent large Tsumeb combination piece. The piece displays beautifully without aid. Try to find another of this size and quality. Value??? We believe in the $1250-1500 range is fair.
