Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, large, amber, nailhead calcite rhombs form an imposing large combination piece from this well-known New York quarry. The large frontal rhomb has striking, preferential inclusions of sparkly tiny marcasite crystals, that look a a Mercedes Benz "star"! The limestone matrix is nicely accented with saddle-shaped dolomite rhombs and larger marcasite crystals. Showy and excellent large combination material from the Blake Barnett and Robert Nowakowski Collections. The display view is pristine.
