Highly desirable and uncommon Bisbee calcite. Bright green malachite includes the myriad of lustrous, translucent calcite rhombs lining the dramatically sculptural winding vug in the hefty ore matrix. Classic, old-time, colorful and rich Bisbee malachite in calcite. The bit of calcite bruising at the top of the piece is certainly only a modet detraction. Not often on the market. Calcite crystals included with malachite are certainly one of the most sought-after and rare species in good quality from the famous mines at Bisbee.
