Glassy, nailhead spar calcite crystals of different sizes and variable amounts of hematite tinting totally cover this impressive 360-degree knob from the famous Stank Mine. The crystals reach about 2.5 cm and every turn presents an entirely different perspective to this fine old-time piece. This iron mine was active from 1871-1901. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with just a bit of modest bruising at the top. Classic and excellent Cumbria calcite.
