These near perfect balls of tightly intergrown calcite rhombs richly included with boulangerite from the famous Herja Mine are some of the most fascinating included mineral species from anywhere. The pieces have a definite metallic look. This nifty piece is from the prominent Miller Calcite Collection # 2193 of the 1970s and 80s and is a very early example of this interesting calcite type, as most such specimens came out in the 1990s.
