Absolutely SUPERB cluster (actually, two clusters in one!) of the classic sand-included Calcites from the Badlands. The elongated scalenohedrons have rounded terminations, and have retained their basic form even with the inclusions. The overall geometry, with crystals going every which way, creates a fantastic aesthetic The pics speak louder than words here, and the longest crystal is almost 4 cm! This was #804 in Kay's collection, acquired over a half-century ago.
