Item Description

This attractive and unique specimen was formed when gemmy Calcite crystals grew in the natural pockets formed by buried fossil clamshells. The interior of the shell now contains fine golden scalenohedra of Calcite that are nearly WATER CLEAR in areas. Not many fine collector specimens come from Florida, and these are certainly distinctive and fun for collectors.
