Item Description
These twisted, sculptural cave formation helectites of calcite from recent finds at the Holbrook Mine at Bisbee are certainly unusual looking and appear to defy gravity in their growth. The lustrous, very glassy, translucent, intergrown rhombs range from tan to a pleasing light pastel-green from copper inclusions. The form on this one is spectacular, with amazing 360-degree form and from the top down! The attachment is at the base of the thick stalactite. Essentialy pristine, with only one small bruised spot on a top rhomb. Very fine material from the Harold Urish Collection.
