Mineral specimens are RARE from this obscure Utah locality. This sculptural large cave calcite helectite plate has numerous striking curled and curved helectites that look like worms. The helectites are composed of sparkly, sharp, translucent intergrown crystals on this aesthetic piece. Several helectites and the plate base were attached to the cave wall, but have modest impact to his fine piece. Very modest pink fluorescence. Found in the 1980s. Choice and rare Utah calcite from the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection and valued by the former dealer at $195.
