Item Description

This classic and excellent Meshberger calcite has fine form, high luster and beatiful amber color. The striking, sharp, gem termination really sets the piece off and the sidecar crystal and bit of limestone matrix are a fine accent. This would have been a doubly terminated crystal, but the basal termimation is cleaved. Ex George White and Cynthia Payne Collections. The five accompanying labels say Hope, Indiana, but that is incorrect. Specimens of this quality are rarely on the market.
