Item Description

A showy geode pair is lined with gem, very glassy, light straw-yellow scalenohedrons, to about 1.5 cm. Two faces on the geode have vugs, that reveal the beautiful gem calcites in the interior, adding character. The calcites resemble those from Aouli and could be from there. Ex Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection and comes with a California Rock and Mineral label (Tony Jones), that dates to 1975-79.
