Calcite (GEMMY) on Conichalcite

Item Description

An attractive small cabinet display specimen of Calcite on Conichalcite from Ojuela. Two predominant, very sharp, rather gemmy, colorless, stepped, compressed rhombohedra of Calcite measuring up to 4.2 cm sit beautifully on the contrasting bright green, botryoidal Conichalcite on matrix. No significant damage to the Calcites, and it's hard to find showy and eye-catching display specimens of this material from this classic Mexican locality.
