Item Description
This piece dates back to the 1990s, and comes from the collection of Richard ("Rich") A. Kosnar (1946-2007), the well-known mineral collector and dealer from Colorado, who had an affinity for trap rock minerals. This piece features a VERY GEMMY solitary rhomb of pale golden Calcite, which plays host to little white bladed crystals of Stilbite-Ca. The back of the Calcite is cleaved, but it allows one to view the almost water-clear clarity of the Calcite.
