Item Description

A wonderful miniature Calcite from the short-lived find around 2000 from Durango. The tabular specimen has textbook ''butterfly''-twinning complemented by the optical clarity and waxy luster. Fine quality Calcite twins like this are not seen from many world localities, and this is one of the best examples we've had to offer in a long time as it has minimal damage and looks good from either side.
