Item Description
These now older Calcites (this piece was mined in 2007) are some of the finest quality OPTIC-GRADE examples of the species from any Chinese locality. This piece is a beautiful large thumbnail / toenail sized piece featuring gorgeous twinned group of WATER-CLEAR, sharp, lustrous, prismatic scalenohedral crystals of colorless Calcite with minor matrix at the base. Very little damage, and fine quality from the standpoint of clarity, sharpness and luster. Gorgeous material and a great pick up for any Calcite collector.
