A fantastic GEM QUALITY Calcite specimen from Wuzhou featuring a fine quality, sharp, lustrous, colorless prismatic crystals with a basal termination, free of matrix. The crystal is absolutely colorless and WATER-CLEAR in clarity due to its chemically pure interior. The prism faces are quite lustrous, while the termination has slight matte white color zoning on the corners. The back of the crystal has a separation mark where it was removed from the pocket, but it's still fine quality for what it is. These now very hard-to-find Calcites from Wuzhou are now considered classics dating back to the early 2000s, but it's the fact that they are some of the finest gem optic grade Calcite crystals from anywhere in the world that really sets them apart.
