Item Description

A 5.8 cm, doubly terminated, lustrous, translucent, honey-amber, calcite crystal is dramatically attached to galena cubes with sphalerite rosettes on this incredibly scultpural, old-time specimen from the Mid-Continent Mine. The galena cubes have splendent to matte-luster faces. The large cube in the cluster is 3.2 x 2.4 x 2.2 cm and the fabulous galena cube perched on the calcite termination is 2.0 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm. Overall, the piece is in great shape. All of the galenas are pristine and just a bit of contacting is noted on the back of the calcite. A spectacular and aesthetic 360-degree Tri-State combination specimen. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
