Classic and impressive calcite and fluorite from the famous Denton Mine. A striking 8.8 cm parallel-growth cluster of sharply terminated, lustrous, translucent, stepped-growth, rich golden-amber calcite scalenohedrons is dramatically set on the purple fluorite and calcite matrix. The calcite crystal cluster is very nearly pristine, with only gently bruised tip to the shortest calcite. The fluorite and calcite matrix is banged up on the back side, but this is certainly not the primary display view on the showy and excellent Denton Mine combination. Modest dark purple fluorite fluorescence.
