Item Description
An impressive, highly sculptural, rare large 360-degree rosette of unusual large calcite crystals accented with a large vertical band of quartz points and smaller quartz clusters on all sides of the piece. The pokerchip-style hexagonal calcite crystals are composed of tightly intergrown, two-toned and two generations of light brown rhombs overgrown by colorless, translucent rhombs. Strange, but certainly fascinating. Complete all-around with striking 360-degree visual appeal and only trivial basal periphery wear. It displays very well without aid. Faint orange-pink fluorescence. Older, very uncommon in this quality and size material from the 1990s to early 2000s finds at Dal'negorsk, legendary for calcite quality and diversity. Value??
