Item Description

A very aesthetic cluster of glassy, highly lustrous, transparent to translucent, colorless calcite scalenohedrons from this famous mine. The impressive large crystal is 6.0 cm and is doubly terminated. All of the crystals have striking gem, water-clear terminations. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The termination of the large crystal looks bruised, but is not. Choice and excellent Dal'negorsk calcite from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Calcites of this high quality came out in the 1990s to early 2000s. Neon orange-pink fluorescence.
