Item Description

Splendent, twinned, well-striated, jet-black sphalerite crystals host a starkly contrasting covering of sparkly, sugary, microcrystalline calcite, Partially hidden beneath the calcite are a couple of glassy quartz crystals to 1.0 cm. A very fine and showy combination specimen from the famous mines at Naica and the Consie Prince Collection. The calcite fluorescences a pretty pastel-pink under long-wave light.
