Calcite (fluorescent) on Amethyst (Soregaroli Coll.)

A very sculptural and aesthetic large calcite combination from Irai and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Two beautiful sprays of frosted, modified, calcite scalenohedrons are elegantly set on the undulating matrix of oxide-coated amethyst crystals. The plethora of tiny calcites is a super accent! A couple of broken calcites are noted in one spray, but this remains a very showy and excellent example of the species and locale. Neon orange-pink fluorescence.
