Item Description

Striking, intergrown wheat sheaf-like bundles of lustrous cream- and tan-colored single and doubly terminated calcite spikes form an impressive, aesthetic and sculptural large calcite from this famous mine and the Ross Lillie Collection # 1404. The nifty doubly terminated crystal at the top is 2.0 cm. A classic calcite form for the locale. His label has an October, 1990 date and was collected in advance mining in the Cross-cut orebody. The lighter colored calcite fluoresces a stronger ghostly white.
