Gemmy, pretty light amber dogtooth calcite scalenohedrons, to 2.3 cm, are festooned on both sides of this impressive and very rich large two-sided pincushion rib from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. One end is the attachment and the scattered contacting and bruising on both sides are certainly only minimal detractions to this striking sculptural specimen. Formerly in the Ross Lillie Collection and collected in October, 1991. Ex Ted Bartels Collection. Ghostly white fluorescence. Classic, excellent and rich Minerva calcite.
