Stacked, glassy, translucent, flattened colorless calcite rhombs form a sculptural and aesthetic specimen from the famous mines at Dal'negorsk. The beautifully striated and notched faces to these trigonal crystals really add pizzazz. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb, is renowned for calcite diversity and quality and this is a good one. Complete all-around and in excellent shape. The bit of noted bruising to two crystals on the left edge is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Neon-orange fluorescence.
