Item Description

These wonderful calcites from Durango, Mexico were only available for a shot time around 2000, with no more since. This impressive for the locale specimen features a huge tabular crystal. These calcites are typically water-clear, with waxy luster and lightly frosted faces. This is a major example from this find, with a very large crystal. They have disappeared. Try to find another. The major crystals are pristine. There is contacting and broken crystals on the periphery, but have minimal effect on the impact of this dramatic and rare calcite. A striking, 360-degree specimen. Bright ghostly white fluorescence. Ex Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection and valued at $750.
