Item Description

This is a classic cluster of translucent to gemmy Calcite crystals from Irai, cemented along the base by a thin veneer of basalt. The crystals reach up to 3 cm in length, and the silky luster gives them an almost ethereal appearance. Not only that, the Calcites have a dramatic and sharp Chlorite phantom, These are common enough in principle, but NOT in such elegant and palm-sized specimens of this quality. Exceptional example from this large deposit!
