These unique-looking Chinese calcites are called "flowers", due to their obvious resemblence. The super-sharp, trigonal, colorless crystal is transparent to translucent and has a deep cavity at the top. An isolated flower pistol or stalk projects up one side at the top. This is the only piece from the small lot we received, where one side is open. Highly unusual and beautiful! Modest white fluorescence. Valued at $650.
