Calcite "Flower"

Florida obviously is not known for its mineral specimens, but it does produce some attractive Calcites every now and then. This piece is a fine quality Florida Calcite as it features a beautiful "flower" like habit comprising rather gemmy, soft golden color modified scalenohedra. It even has a hollow "tube" running through the center. Virtually no damage, and really eye-catching. A great piece for any Calcite collector, or a collector or U.S. minerals.
