A wonderful, 360-degree, classic calcite "flower" or "tree" shape from the cave deposits at Wenshan. The very glassy, lustrous, gemmy scalenohedrons at the base grade upward to multiple, amazing, triangular, hoppered crystals at the crest. Ghostly white LW UV fluorescence. Ex. Rob Lavinsky Collection. A dramatic, beautiful and sculptural, older Wenshan cave calcite with striking hoppered terminations.
