Item Description

Without question, China has been a source of a plethora of superb and unique Calcite specimens over the last 20+ years, and the pieces from Wenshan are no exception. Here we have beautiful display piece showing a "flower" or "tree" shape comprising very pale yellow to white, gemmy, sharp, scalenohedral crystals in a burst-like growth, free of matrix. The largest individual crystal measures 2.0 cm long This piece is in great shape overall, and truly displays well from all sides. A wonderful Calcite specimen to add to any Chinese suite or Calcite collection.
