Item Description
A lustrous, translucent, rich amber colored calcite scalenohedron, with striking, complex "cut-glass", stepped-growth face modifications, from Indiana. The stepped-growth outer plates are much gemmier and glassier, than the primary frosted scalenohedron. Complete all-around, pristine and a superb example from this little-known locality. From the important Midwest collection of George Feist # 1725. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
