Glassy, transparent to translucent, calcite crystals are dramatically intergrown on this showy 360-degree piece. The amber crystals, some doubly terminated, have pleasing gemmy golden-amber tips, like Elmwood calcites. Choice, nearly pristine calcite from the Cynthia Payne Collection.
