Item Description

Dogtooth calcite crystals to 3.3 cm in a striking jackstraw pattern form an excellent and sculptural specimen from the famous Minerva # 1 Mine. The translucent, very light amber crystals have secondary overgrowth of soft white calcite with a matte luster. The bit of periphery wear is a very modest detraction to this showy and classic piece. Ex Charelle and James Webb Collection.
