Item Description

Literally hundreds of sharp brownish scalenohedrons of calcite, to 2 cm in length, make this specimen look like a pincushion. Upon an even closer inspection some of the crystals have taken on a flowery effect. Minor bruising to some terminations is present but does not seriously affect the visual appearance. Old classic material from the region, but an unusually large example of it
