Calcite (ex Scott Williams Collection)

Item Description

A hard to find Calcite specimen from Lavrion (Laurium) featuring sharp "dogtooth" habit crystals with a notably unusual pseudo-metallic golden-brown hue caused I think the piece is most likely from the Hilarion Mine, but I'm not a Lavrion expert, so I'm going to leave it as it was labeled originally in the Scott J. Williams collection (label included). Good overall quality, with only a few cleaved crystals on the side of the piece. The largest crystal measures 2.6 cm.
