Item Description
A rarely seen group of GEM quality, soft golden color scalenohedra of Calcite on a little matrix from the Faylor-Middle Creek Quarry in Winfield, Pennsylvania. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm, and they are essentially WATER-CLEAR down to the base of the matrix underneath. I'm told that this quarry is best known for its Strontianite specimens. If you're a Calcite collector, a Pennsylvania collector or if you just enjoy obscure specimens from the United States, do not miss out on this one!
