Item Description

This mine is obviously best known for its amazing crystallized Copper specimens, but few good crystallized Calcite specimens have survived. This piece is a fine, sharp, translucent, lustrous, hematite-tinted, Calcite scalenohedron from the famous Copper Country of Michigan. This was probably collected in the 1960s. Ex Jim Robison carbonate collection.
