Calcite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

A beautiful group of semi-resinous, pseudo-rounded golden Calcite crystals measuring up to 6 mm on matrix from Boron, California. The Calcites are tightly intergrown, but they look attractive up close as they are actually well-crystallized. Good quality for the locality, and a very worthwhile add to any Calcite suite. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2005). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
